Although I no longer do wedding make-up, I have put together a basic beauty schedule to help you get ready for your very special day.
Just for You…
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, which is why you want to look and feel your best for this special day. With all the other things there are to plan and book, it is very easy to forget about yourself, and lets face it, without you, there won’t be a wedding. With this in mind, I have put some packages together specifically for the Bride-to-be and the Groom. I hope you will find one that suits your needs, but if you don’t, contact me anyway, and I will put a package together just for you.
No Make-up but Plenty of Pampering
Perhaps instead of make-up, you would like to look bronzed and radiant. St Tropez will give you the exact depth of tan you want without the harmful rays of the sun or the damaging effect of a sun-bed.
I have also put together a package that will help to maximise your skin tone, relax and de-stress you, leaving you feeling calm and ready to face anything.
The Schedule
To get a fresh, glowing complexion, book a course of 10 facials at a rate of one every 7 – 10 days. I would highly recommend the Crystal Clear Microdermabrasion Beauty Flash Treatment, suitable for all skin types, even sensitive ones! If you cant stretch to this then start having regular facials, (a Prescription Facial for example – tailored to any skin type), at least 3 months before the big day. Ideally, one facial every week for one month and then one a month for two months. Have the last facial one week before the wedding day. (A total of 6 facials).
The other consideration is your nails. I suggest that you have a treatment manicure and pedicure, 3 months prior to the wedding and a further treatment a month later. Finish with a full colour manicure and pedicure the day before the wedding. If your nails are really bad it would be a good idea to have weekly treatment manicures and pedicures for at least 6 weeks prior to the big day, and do a maintenance programme at home, in between each visit. We can discuss nail strengtheners and cuticle treatments which you can purchase and use at home to compliment the treatment you are having done with me.
2 months before
If your considering St Tropez Tanning, then now is a good time for a trial run. It will give you plenty of time to decide on the depth of colour you’ll want for your special day.
If you’re new to nail extensions and think you may want them done
for your wedding, having them done now will give you plenty of time to get
used to them. You will then need to have infills done every two weeks or
have them removed and re-applied the day before your wedding. However, if
you decide that extension are not for you, this will give us time to remove
them and restore your natural nails to good health. PLEASE NOTE, I DO NOT
DO NAIL EXTENSIONS ANYMORE.
6 weeks before
Have waxing done now and then again two to three days prior to the wedding. This will ensure any skin irritation will have settled down and you’ll be able to apply your fave deodorant and moisturiser without fear of reaction. If you are having St Tropez Tanning, you should have it done 24 hours after waxing. St Tropez needs at least 4 hours to develop properly but is best left over night and shower in the morning.
4 weeks to go
Four to six weeks prior to the big day, have a trial make-up session. This can be done at any time really, but around this time you’ll have everything else sorted and know if you want a traditional natural look or something to blend in with your colour scheme.
If you suffer with pressure problems in your ears, will help stop your ears popping/hurting when you fly off on honeymoon. Have one session now and a further session during the week that you intend to fly. This therapy is also a great stress buster – just what you need before your wedding.
3 days & counting
Enhance your eyes to their max and have an Eyelash Tint and Lash Tint shape. Follow this by a totally relaxing Indian Head Massage to relieve stress, tension and pre-wedding nerves.
2 days
If you are having the St Tropez then you can relax whilst I exfoliate and moisturise you and then apply the bronzing solution. Alternatively, it would be a good time to get your Pedicure done.
The eve of your special day…
Have your manicure as late as you possible can to avoid the danger of
chipping it. It is also a good idea to either bring your own colour with
you, or be prepared to purchase a bottle of the colour you chose, in case
you need to repair any smudges or accidents.
The big day
If you can get a therapist to come to you and do your hair and make-up, do. It saves a lot of time and stress. Sit back and let others run around you for a while.
